Deodato Arte Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition of two of the most important photographers in the field of fashion, Marco Glaviano and Helmut Newton. The exhibition entitled “Newton & Glaviano - Shape of a Woman” will be held at the Deodato Arte Gallery on Via Giulia, 122 in Rome from Thursday April 27th to Sunday May 28th 2023. Marco Glaviano will be attend the opening of the exhibition on Thursday April 27th at 6.30 pm.

The exhibition pays homage to female beauty and brings together the famous shots that marked the artistic careers of Newton and Glaviano. The photographs in the exhibition “Newton & Glaviano - Shape of a Woman” retrace the history of fashion from the point of view of the two photographers. They make the allure eternal of some of the world’s most important models, including the iconic supermodel of 1980s and 1990s, Cindy Crawford.
Helmut Newton and Marco Glaviano:
It was 1968 when Helmut Newton and Marco Glaviano first met. Newton was already an established photographer and very popular among the various fashion magazines of the time. Glaviano, on the other hand, was a promising young photographer at the beginning of his career.
After millions of shots by both photographers, Newton and Glaviano are together again thanks to their immortal art. Marco Glaviano, who has always been a great admirer of Helmut Newton, remembers the great photographer who died in 2004:
